These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the hosted services operated by Piqued AI, LLC (“Piqued AI,” “we,” “us,” “our”), including piqued.cc, Piqued Forge, Collabynt, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is a hosted governance platform for managing, reviewing, and collaborating on project governance data structured under the pqdx protocol. The pqdx protocol itself is an open standard licensed under CC-BY-ND 4.0 — these Terms govern the Service, not the protocol.
The Service may include free and paid tiers. Free tiers may have limitations on features, capacity, or usage. We may modify the features available in any tier with reasonable notice. Paid tier pricing and features are described at the time of purchase.
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@piqued-ai.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You retain full ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including state files, session records, decision records, and any other governance content (“Your Data”). We do not claim any ownership interest in Your Data.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit Your Data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete Your Data or close your account.
You may export Your Data at any time in standard pqdx format. We will not restrict your ability to retrieve your own data. If you close your account, we will make Your Data available for export for a minimum of 30 days following account closure.
Your Data is structured under the pqdx protocol, which is an open standard. Your Data is not locked to our Service. You may use Your Data with any tool that implements the pqdx protocol, including competing services.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at https://piqued.cc/privacy. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

If you subscribe to a paid tier, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Fees are described at the time of purchase and may be billed monthly or annually. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment instrument details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored by Piqued AI.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as we may determine at our discretion.
If you cancel a paid subscription, your account reverts to the free tier at the end of the current billing period. Your Data is preserved and remains exportable.
The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Piqued AI, LLC. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
The pqdx protocol, schema specification, and file format are open standards licensed under CC-BY-ND 4.0. Your use of the pqdx protocol is governed by that license, not these Terms.
If you provide suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback about the Service, we may use that feedback without obligation to you.
The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as identity providers, version control platforms, or cloud storage). Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIQUED AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIQUED AI'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PIQUED AI IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL PIQUED AI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Piqued AI, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
These Terms remain in effect while you have an account or use the Service.
You may close your account at any time. See Section 3.3 regarding data export.
We may terminate your account for cause (violation of these Terms) with notice where practicable, or immediately if required to comply with law or prevent harm to other users. We may contact you after 12 months of inactivity to confirm you want to keep your account. We may terminate accounts that have been inactive for more than 36 months, with 30 days' notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections 3.1 (data ownership), 3.3 (export), 6.1 (our IP), 8 (disclaimer), 9 (liability), 10 (indemnification), and 13 (governing law) survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, via email or in-Service notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may close your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts located in Kent County, Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Piqued AI regarding the Service.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
